New Sony QX Series Caters to Mobile Photographers

The future of mobile photography is here. Sony has combined the power of the Cybershot with the mobility of the smartphone. The new QX models are a lens-style camera that can be attached to any mobile device and transform your smartphone into a powerful camera.

Available in a high-zoom, and a higher-quality model, the QX10 and DSC-QX10 cameras are easy to use and add fun to the mobile photography sharing experience. Both models use Wi-fi to connect the compact cameras to any device. With the use of Sony's PlayMemories Mobile™ application, the screen on the mobile device instantly becomes that of the camera and allows users to control the camera, save and share their photos, and create videos without needing to use the camera built-in to the device.

Sony's new concept cameras are now available in stores and come in a classic black color, and a white/gold combo. Prices start at $250 for the high-zoom model, and $500 for the higher quality model. More accessories, like cases for the lens-camera, are also available to add a custom look to one's everyday photography device.
