Soon We Will be Seeing Our Military Suited Up in Iron Man Suits

Sounds like it’s fake, right?  Well, the information I am about to introduce to you is very real.  The U.S. military has already begun this project in the U.S. Operations Command sector headed by Admiral William McRaven.  Admiral McRaven has shared many of the details about this new tactical military suit. As I share the details of it, I’m sure you’ll come to agree that it sounds just like the famous Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit that we never fathomed would actually come to life.

The idea of creating such a suit spawned out of a tragedy that I am sure all soldiers have come to anticipate.  A poor soldiers life was taken through the simple action of walking through a door.

With all the technology we have available today, it should not seem like an impossible task to create these suits that will better protect our troops who make a commitment in risking their lives every day.  It's not like we don't have the ability to do it, anyone who went to CES this year can attest to that.  Which were precisely Admiral McRavens thoughts.  Developers have been recruited and enlisted to make this superhero-like gear as soon as possible.  Much progress is being made in the prototype which is scheduled to be completed by June for testing.

The suit will be called the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS).  Some of the amazing features TALOS will allow soldiers to have superhuman strength while outfitted in them, protection from small firearms, and they’ll even we equipped with computers that will communicate any threats to the soldiers.  Sounds like Tony Starks ideas were not all that impossible.  The Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit is said to be ready for soldier use by the year 2018.

While it will be expensive to create and train our military to use them, it seems worth it if it’s going to save the lives of many soldiers as well as make our army that much stronger.

I still think they should call it the Iron Man suit….but that’s just my personal opinion. I wonder if Junopower batteries could charge one of these suits….probably not!  But they can charge your phones and tablets!  Check our out power packs here or on Amazon!
