First flexible phone being released this week?

Possibly being unveiled this week, the new Galaxy with a flexible, curved display is said to be made out of plastic.  What does this mean?  For those of you just hearing about it, a flexible display smartphone does not mean you can bend the phone, it just means that the display is going to have a curve to it on the sides, extending over the corners, apparently remaining stationary. 

It is allegedly going to be the first mobile phone to have the display made out of plastic instead of glass – which not only allows the curves on the device, but also prolongs the life of the screen.  Pretty cool!  Rumors are flying around about when this said “unveiling” is to occur.  We should supposedly anticipate some action by the end of this week in seeing if this new curved screen will live up to our expectations.  Being that Samsung has already filed for a trademark for the name (Galaxy Round), we will hopefully be finding out more soon.
