The reason some people might not be at ease with this problem is, because the use of the biometric technology for the consumer convenience could become a hackers' treasure with all the data. They will have access to permanent data which cannot be deleted or changed.
Apple is expected to sell around 5-6 Million iPhone 5s/5c this weekend, well doing all of this Apple could pull in equal or slightly better in opening sales than with the iPhone 5. Selling only 5-6 million might seem to be a disappointment, because that will include China and it is the first time launching in China.

App store is set for a huge 2013 year, because of all the new apps. The company has revealed that total app downloads worldwide will hit 102 billion this year.
The past few iPhone “S” versions have come with a groundbreaking feature. For the iPhone 3GS it was speed and for the iPhone 4S it was Siri, but the iPhone 5S doesn’t add many major improvements or innovations outside of the new fingerprint scanner, an improved camera, and a faster processor.
