The Samsung Galaxy S5 – Best Galaxy to Date!
The new Samsung Galaxy S5 is bringing a lot to the table with some new and very impressive features! This fresh design is bringing us a 5.1 inch display, 1080p resolution, 2 GB of Ram and either 16 GB or 32 GB of storage. There is an expandable microSD card slot an IR blaster and more.
Now let’s talk a little more about those new and impressive features and what they mean. Samsung has declared the camera on this nifty device to be the “Best camera ever”. It’s a 16 megapixel with face-detection autofocus. This is a pretty great tool, it detects the face and locks on it in .3 seconds, making the process of taking a good picture much faster.
Another great feature the S5 has is the display. Most phones adjust brightness according to the environmental lighting; this Galaxy takes it a step further by having not only automatic brightness adjustment, but also contrast making the display look clear at all times.
Furthermore, and perhaps my personal favorite addition to the Galaxy is the home button unlock. To unlock your phone, you swipe the home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. You no longer need a passcode lock, the phone will recognize your fingerprint making it impossible for anyone else to unlock your phone. But that’s not all! The fingerprint scanner can be utilized to make purchases as well through PayPal now that they have partnered up with Samsung!
For those of you who are as accident prone as I am, this phone is also very water resistant. In case you decide to go for a swim with your phone in your pocket, fear not! You have up to 30 minutes to remember before your phone let's the water destroy it.
One more thing I must tell you about is the battery. It has a 2800 mAh battery, which is pretty powerful to start with. Even with such a large battery, most of us will still hit that dreadful low battery mark at some point throughout the day. That’s where the “Ultra-Power Saving” option comes in. This mode doubles the battery life for those low power emergency situations.
