As bizarre as it sounds, these moms actually claim that marijuana makes parenting easier because of the effects the drug has on the mind and body. In addition to helping cope with the symptoms of common medical issues, the weed moms also like the effect it has on their mind. One of the moms says that she is a better parent “because I’m calmer, I’m more rational, I’m not angry, not stressed” when under the influence of marijuana. Another mom claims that, “Marijuana makes me a better and more creative parent.” 

As the moms enjoy the frequent use of the drug incorporated into their daily lives, they also incorporate it in their social lives. These moms have frequent dinner parties, like normal moms, except the food is made with cannabis. “We've all come up against people who say marijuana is for dirty druggies, but we are proof you can be good parents and productive members of society and use it” says one of the moms of this group. To protect their reputation and also make a good name for themselves these moms are trying to prove that the use of marijuana is perfectly okay. “Marijuana parents aren’t perfect, but they’re far less imperfect than parents who use alcohol irresponsibly” says another mom who claims that marijuana usage saved her marriage.
